How it all started...

While traveling in the Orient, we got into a taxi where the driver had a makeshift pillow attached to his head rest. So came the big Ahaa moment and NEK-BONZ® was invented.

We realized that annoying, stressful gap between your head and the headrest could be remedied with a simple solution. Now came the next series of steps; how to make it, what to call it and how to unite function with fashion.

After several design patterns, we found the most comfortable was shaped like an oversized stuffed dog bone. After making many prototypes, we found this shape cradled your cervical spine and allowed your head to rest back comfortably.

A word of caution: once you own a NEK-BONZ®, you will never want to drive without one in your car. Using NEK-BONZ® may create an extreme sense of euphoria upon arrival to your destination.

Meet Soans. Tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Born on Valentine’s Day, February, 14, 1992, South Carolina. For 14 years, 11 months and 22 days, Soans gave us unlimited joy, laughter and love. After coming up with the name, NEK-BONZ®, the natural creative progression was using a dog as our logo. At first we drew up different dog faces. Then one day we were looking at puppy pictures of our dog, and realized we had the best dog face right in front of us.
